Winnie Corral

Ever since Winnie Corral joined the Board of Directors in 2006, she has served as a portal into the world of Family Support Centers. As a Family Support Professional, she provides the board with an intimate understanding of the daily work of Family Support.

For the past ten years, Winnie has worked as the Program Manager to Familias Unidas and South Everett Neighborhood Center. She has led these Lutheran Community Services Northwest programs with a drive for strengthening families and communities and helping underrepresented groups, such as recent immigrants, get their “voices” heard.

Winnie also serves the boards of the following organizations: Snohomish County Children’s Commission, Communities of Color Coalition, City of Everett Advisory on Diversity, YMCA Minority Achievers Program, and Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center.She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California and recently was honored to with the 2009 KSER Voice of the Community Award.

Prior to program managing Family Support Centers, Winnie worked as a Foster Care Licensor with Lutheran Community Services Northwest’s Unaccompanied Minors Program.Sheh and her husband Dan live in Everett, Washington.
